Energy Security and Net Zero Committee - New Chair

Angus MacNiel
Energy Security and Net Zero Committee is a new Commons Select Committee, set up as a result of the recent changes to the machinery of Government. Its purpose is to scrutinise the policy, spending and administration of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and its public bodies, including Ofgem and the Committee on Climate change.

SWIGA already have an excellent relationship with the newly formed Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and work closely with them on many issues. It's therefore going to be a very important committee to the solid wall inslation industry and energy efficiency measures as a whole - especially when it comes to the retrofit and decarbonisation of existing buildings.

The best way to keep up to date with the activities of the Committee is to follow them on Twitter @CommonsESNZ.
