This prestigious residential development has recently undergone a complete cladding remediation. SWIGA member Lawtech undertook the works directly for a blue chip company.
An initial Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) allowed Lawtech time to create a comprehensive design and plan of work ahead of the second-stage contract.

The works involved the replacement of combustible cladding systems with non-combustible alternatives on three high-rise blocks (Athena Court, Apollo Court and Aphrodite Court), the tallest of which stands at 27 storeys. These blocks were mixed use, with some commercial units on the ground floor.

The existing ACM cassette rainscreen was replaced with a non-combustible Rockpanel FS-Xtra system, and combustible EWI was replaced with a non-combustible EWI system. AliDeck balcony decking replaced existing timber decking, and window pods were replaced. Additional works included works to the existing LSF, new feature bands, glazing replacement, renewal of the canopy, landscaping works including artificial turf to the courtyard, and redecoration works to balconies.

Liaising with London Borough of Newham they were able to procure the necessary licences to allow the works to take place in a timely fashion, which was especially important in such a busy location.
Lawtech undertook over 1,500 quality checks across the project, exemplifying their commitment to quality.
SWIGA have provided a 10 year Guarantee for the EWI works on Aphrodite Court..
