Certification body NICEIC has now been recognised by the Solid Wall Insulation Guarantee Agency (SWIGA) for its quality and surveillance framework.

Mark Weaver of SWIGA commented: “We are delighted that NICEIC has met SWIGA’s requirements to our solid wall surveillance standards. This recognition now offers significant opportunities to all NICEIC installers that have PAS 2030 certification from NICEIC in securing SWIGA membership.

Mark added: “Until this point only two other certification bodies had a framework recognised by SWIGA for its robust approach to solid wall insulation.”

Nick Wright, Commercial Manager at NICEIC added: “We are extremely pleased to now be able to offer our customers a route to SWIGA membership. We look forward to working closely with SWIGA and the insulation industry to maintain and improve standards in Green Deal, ECO and beyond.”

OFGEM confirms that SWIGA meets ECO Requirements for SWI

Ofgem has confirmed that the Solid Wall Insulation Guarantee Agency (SWIGA) 25 year Guarantee meets the ‘appropriate guarantee’ requirements laid down in its ECO guidance for suppliers published on 15th March 2013 for all SWI installations undertaken in the ECO.
